With a lineup of Matt Powell (vocals/guitar), Pat Pearson (drums/vocals), Adam Atkin (guitar/vocals/synth) and Damien Stapleton (bass/vocals), Locus Wimple’s sound is a fusion of alternative, rock, psychedelic, grunge, electro, acoustic and an occasional folksy edge. The band’s six-track EP, Welcome to Arcadia, is a showcase of the surfy relaxing style of Locus Wimple.

The band’s gigs are as captivating as they are addictive, with the talented songwriting of the group translating brilliantly to the live format.

In 2013, Locus Wimple looks set to conquer after hitting the Triple J airwaves with one of the EP’s signature tracks, California Break In. Having already performed at multiple venues throughout Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Byron Bay, Locus Wimple is sure to be hitting a venue near you soon.
